Shri Umashankar Veko having 29 acre agriculture land. In 29 acre land, he is grown rice, maize and seasonal vegetables He is also doing fish harvesting and produce forestry product such as Mahuwa, tamarind etc.
During the year 2007-2008 he is came in contact and participated in every activities of KVK. He is also having 100 Cashew nut three, 35 Mango trees and 20 Fig trees to produce good quality fruits and getting maximum production by adopting improved agriculture technology. |
After adopting new technology, he has getting income of Rs. 80000/- from rice cultivation, Rs. 20000/- from seasonal vegetables, Rs. 40000/- from fish harvesting, Rs. 3000/- from poultry, Rs. 25000/- from forestry produce, Rs. 21000/- from fruits and Rs. 2000/- per year from mushroom production. He was also made vermi compost pit as well as NADEP tank on his own land and getting income of Rs. 8000/- to 10000/- per year from this source. |
